Sloan

I shot this about 20 minutes before Sloan went on stage for their New Year's Eve show in Barrie, Ontario. It was an outdoor concert and was extremely cold (around -10 or so). Notice the gloves that they're wearing. They had to use women's leather gloves that fit really tight, to be able to play.

I photographed them in a boardroom in Barrie's city hall.  I liked the contrast between them and the anti-rock feel of the room around them.

The next shows they're playing are in Boston with the Rolling Stones (2 nights) in mid-January.
