House Factory

House Factory

July 08, 2004

Cambridge, Ontario, Canada

I've never seen this before: Houses built in a factory and wheeled out to be set upon the foundation in the new subdivision nearby. I thought about it for a while, but could not think of any advantages of doing it this way.

Can anybody out there clear this up for me?

Protection from the elements, possibly? Although, I can't see it being that much of a concern....
