I used my 70-200mm f/2.8 lens to try and create an effect that makes large things like railroad tracks, buildings, etc., appear to be miniature, somewhat like a scale model. Tilt shift lenses are great for this, but I tried to see if I could do the same with my zoom at f/2.8. Keeping a shallow depth of field in the middle of the subject seems to create the effect of smallness.

I'm not sure that it was a success, but I'm going to try more of it in the comings days and weeks.
