I met this deer on Friday while I was at work. It was beside the road near the entrance to our office. I quietly approached it while it had it's head down feeding on grass. I got to within 20 feet of it when it popped it's head up and was surprised to see me so close. We stood and stared at each other for about 30 seconds before it decided to head into the nearby trees. It hid behind a tree and watched me for a few minutes before I left to go back to work.
This is a prime example of why I'm glad I don't work in or near a city.
