Troops of the Canadian 4th Division prepare for the next wave of German attackers while holding the line at Passchendaele on November 14th, 1917. France and Belgium had seen a lot of rain, but I managed to keep my 20D dry enough. I made sure to bring along my digital camera. I didn't want to risk my historic images getting ruined like what happened to Robert Capa.
This is part of a large miniature display at the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa. I added grain and the old newspaper photo effect.
